Job Summary

Join our Children in Need Team as Deputy Team Manager and play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and families. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced senior social worker to lead our team and support the Team Manager in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of social workers, ensuring effective supervision and performance management.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to address the needs of children and families, promoting improved outcomes.
  • Deputise for the Team Manager, providing cover when needed.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualifying social work degree and current full UK statutory registration.
  • At least five years of post-registration experience in children and families statutory settings, preferably with supervisory or management responsibilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of childcare legislation, theory, and practice.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary package, including:

  • A higher-than-UK salary: £63,800 - £71,865 dependent on experience.
  • A 20% flat-rate income tax.
