Category Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at STARK Building Materials UK. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving strategic and tactical growth of our categories to support the delivery of budgeted sales and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and lead business plans for allocated categories to drive growth and meet customer project needs.
  • Develop and deliver product ranges that meet customer requirements while achieving company financial targets.
  • Negotiate and deliver supplier trading agreements in line with group goals and initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze category performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate reports and recommendations on ranging, pricing, sales, plans, and promotions.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of Category Management experience with Building Materials products.
  • Commercial awareness and proven success driving performance improvements within Category Management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assimilate information into clear actionable insights and plans.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Highly IT literate in Microsoft and database systems.
