About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our network of healthcare professionals in South East London. As a Network Lead Pharmacist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing medicines optimisation services that improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead medicines optimisation services across South East London, working closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide clinical and contract management support to the London Home Oxygen Service contract, ensuring safe and effective delivery of oxygen services to patients in their homes.
  • Work with the pharmacy leadership team to support the delivery of the SEL ICB medicines agenda and the London Home Oxygen Service agenda.
  • Contribute to the development of quality, safety, and clinical effectiveness workstreams, ensuring high-value, innovative medicines optimisation programmes in SEL.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in pharmacy or a related field.
  • Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Postgraduate qualification in clinical/community pharmacy or equivalent experience.
  • Mandatory Continuing Professional Development to maintain fitness to practice and revalidation.
  • Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience of developing medicines optimisation services in challenging environments.
  • Knowledge of developing long-term conditions prevention or management services and an understanding of personalised care.
  • Extensive experience of negotiating and implementing change in practice.
  • Experience of managing the delivery and improvement of services within a complex and diverse organisation.
