Job Title: Residential Assessment Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our residential family assessment centre in Tooting.

This is a unique opportunity for a qualified social worker to take full ownership of the centre and make a meaningful impact on the lives of families in need.

About the Role:

  • Take overall responsibility for the assessment and support services based at the centre.
  • Ensure a high standard of social work practice within the centre and that staff are clear about their responsibilities and duties.
  • Lead and manage specific assessments, including reading court papers, planning and reviewing the assessment, supporting Keyworkers to compile reports, and supporting Keyworkers in giving evidence at Court.
  • Attend and support weekly staff meetings, and facilitate and guide family work discussions and case analysis.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified social worker with experience in supporting families where there have been issues of child abuse/neglect.
  • Proven leadership skills, successfully leading, supporting and managing a team.
  • Highly effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to remain level-headed in a pressurised environment.

Salary: £63,000 per annum, this salary reflects the level of responsibility required for this role.
