Senior Lawyer - Childcare

Sellick Partnership (Legal) Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lawyer to join their Safeguarding and Education team in Merseyside. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive to enhance their career in a busy but friendly in-house team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of Childcare Law matters, including handling complex cases and providing advice on matters such as:

  1. Representing the local authority in relation to childcare matters, including at meetings and court
  2. Workload will consist of pre-proceeding and care cases
  3. Undertaking all necessary preparation of cases
  4. Taking part in duty rota

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local government legal work and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to the team.
