Senior Solicitor - Regeneration and Projects

Are you a skilled commercial property lawyer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Solicitor - Regeneration and Projects to join our team at St Helens Council, working on exciting regeneration and project work.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Lexcel accredited legal team who are finalists in the Local Government Chronicle "Team of the Year 2024" awards and the LexisNexis "Customer Focus Award 2024". As a Senior Solicitor - Regeneration and Projects, you will be responsible for providing commercial property legal support services across the council, including public/private partnership arrangements and high-value transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with regeneration and project work, including public/private partnership arrangements
  • Provide legal support for commercial property matters, including high-value and high-profile transactions
  • Support the delivery of the Council's Levelling Up and Town Deal initiatives
Requirements

We are looking for a lawyer with previous experience dealing with commercial property matters in a Local Authority. You should be an excellent coordinator, able to handle major business projects, and have well-developed communication skills. Local government experience is desirable, but we welcome applications from lawyers from all parts of the sector.
