Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Governance Manager to drive service quality and safety, ensuring that our clinical and non-clinical services are underpinned by a robust quality governance and safety framework. As a key member of our management board, you will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous quality improvement across our Hospice teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality governance and safety frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and governance legislation.
  • Lead investigations and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop operational plans to enhance service quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure effective solutions are reached in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and safety, including the monitoring of progress and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Education to Bachelor's level or equivalent.
  • Evidence of recent ongoing personal development action and achievement.
  • Current clinical professional registration.
  • Specific in-depth knowledge of the challenges facing health and social care.
  • Sound understanding of the PSIRF Agenda.
  • Expert knowledge of clinical service delivery issues.
  • Demonstrable ability and experience of leading investigations.
  • Working knowledge of governance legislation.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire others.
  • Demonstrable ability to collect, collate, and analyze data.
  • Ability to develop operational plans.

Experience

  • Management experience in an operational role.
  • Experience of successful quality governance, monitoring, and improvement.
