About the Role

The Finance Systems Change Manager will lead on the delivery of finance system based enhancements and upgrades, setting the direction of the Finance Product team roadmap and providing immediate prioritisation and steer to the team ensuring alignment with UCL's strategic objectives.

The role requires expertise in project management, the operation and development of financial systems, and familiarity with software development methodologies such as agile and waterfall. The post holder should have the ability to manage several projects and initiatives simultaneously. The post holder should be organised, efficient, and flexible with excellent time management skills.

The role also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The post holder will need to work well with cross-functional teams and be able to lead engagement with stakeholders, identifying and championing the user needs. The post-holder will be committed to the principle of service excellence.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of managing projects and delivering system enhancements
  • Experience of managing delivery of system enhancements on large finance systems
  • Experience of working within a structured project management framework (agile)
  • Experience of user engagement and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Proven experience leading and owning delivery of large complex requirements
  • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Experience managing and influencing a broad range of stakeholders
