Clinical Psychologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist clinical psychology assessments and interventions for children and young people referred to our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people to identify their mental health needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, systemic therapy, and attachment therapy, to support children and young people in achieving their goals.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and educators, to ensure seamless care and support for children and young people.
- Develop and lead on specialist clinical psychology services, including the attachment pathway, to support children and young people with complex needs.
- Provide supervision and consultation to other psychologists and professionals to ensure high-quality care and support for children and young people.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BPS-accredited honours degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Qualification in Clinical Psychology accredited by the BPS and HCPC.
- Extensive post-qualification experience of working as a specialist clinical psychologist with children, young people, and their families.
- Knowledge of relevant child protection, safeguarding, and mental health legislation and its implications for clinical practice and professional management.
- Evidence of continuing professional development as dictated by the HCPC and the BPS.
