Clinical Psychologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist clinical psychology assessments and interventions for children and young people referred to our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and young people to identify their mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide highly specialist clinical psychology interventions, including cognitive-behaviour therapy, behaviour therapy, systemic therapy, and attachment therapy, to support children and young people in achieving their full potential.
- Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and young people.
- Develop and lead on the attachment pathway within CAMHS, providing specialist clinical psychology assessments and interventions as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to child protection, safeguarding, and mental health.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BPS-accredited honours degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Qualification in Clinical Psychology accredited by the BPS and HCPC.
- Extensive post-qualification experience of working as a specialist clinical psychologist with children, young people, and their families.
- Knowledge of relevant child protection, safeguarding, and mental health legislation and its implications for clinical practice and professional management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families, as well as other professionals.
