EdEx Inclusion Support Assistant Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate to join our team as an Inclusion Support Assistant at a high-achieving Secondary School in the Borough of Camden.

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable University, a genuine interest in working with Students with Educational Needs (SEN), and excellent communication skills. Experience in a previous role or personal experience in SEN is desirable.

As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will be working alongside pupils with complex behavioural needs who require some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model. You will support with their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom.

This is a full-time, long-term post commencing ASAP, offering a competitive daily rate of £105 - £120 per day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom
  • Encouraging the development of the students' social skills
  • Working within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
  • Supporting and complying with the school's safeguarding procedures
