Job Opportunity

An exceptional secondary school in the Borough of Camden seeks an Inclusion Support Assistant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, resilient graduate with a genuine interest in working with students with special educational needs.

This is an ideal position for a psychology or criminology graduate seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a prison liaison officer, therapist, counsellor, youth mentor, or other related roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with complex needs to engage in classroom activities
  • Encouraging the development of social skills
  • Working within classrooms and smaller groups to accommodate individual needs
  • Safeguarding procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • 2:1 or First-class degree from a reputable university
  • Genuine interest in working with SEN
  • Excellent communication and adaptability skills
  • Previous experience in SEN, either professionally or personally, is desirable
  • Calm and compassionate nature

Salary and Benefits:

A competitive daily rate of £65,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), continuing professional development opportunities, including the chance to pursue salaried teacher training after one academic year.

About the Role:

This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team environment and access specialist staff guidance.
