Electrical Inspector

EFBQ, a world-class defence organisation, is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector to join their team on a 12-month contract.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical inspection and testing, with a focus on ensuring the quality of deliverable hardware.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Certifying products in line with established processes and procedures.
- Examining electrical connections and assemblies for correctness.
- Inspecting the finish of parts for faulty finishing or deterioration.
- Inspecting for physical damage.
- Conducting intermediate inspection checks for non-product certification activities.
- Monitoring operators within the product certification scheme.
- Completing and certifying paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
- Controlling non-conforming items.
- Raising and maintaining relevant data records and non-conformance reports.
- Producing inspection and quality control documentation and history sheets.
- Caring for and using specialised inspection tools.
- Maintaining product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Ensuring compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
- Meeting inspection times.
- Contributing to an environment of process improvement.
The successful candidate will possess a versatile skill base, with the ability to apply their skills across a range of tasks.
They will also have a strong understanding of electrical inspection and testing principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
EFBQ offers a competitive hourly rate of £28.71ph (Umbrella) and the opportunity to work with a world-class defence organisation.
