Electrical Inspector Contract Position

Insignis is seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverable hardware and verifying all forms of electrical connections.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections to detect faulty finishing, deterioration of surfaces, and other defects.
- Verify correct assembly and electrical connections to ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor operators within the Product Certification Scheme and maintain relevant data records.
- Check and complete paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
- Produce inspection and quality control documentation, including history sheets.
- Care for and use specialized inspection tools, ensuring compliance with procedures.
- Meet inspection times and maintain high standards of workmanship, product quality, and safety.
- Participate in training programs, including manual handling and ESD training.
- Hold relevant qualifications, such as vocational G or H Units, City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3, or NVQ3 with Further Education.
