Electrical Inspector

Certain Advantage is seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team on a 12-month contract. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliverable hardware and certifying products in line with established processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 or HNC, with several years of experience as a skilled person. IPC 610 & IPC 620 certification/training is preferred, along with manual handling training and ESD training. No colour blindness is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and certify products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Verify all forms of electrical connections and examine the finish of all parts.
- Monitor operators within the Product Certification Scheme and control non-conforming items.
- Check, complete, and certify all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack.
- Raise and maintain relevant data records/non-conformance reports.
- Produce relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheets.
- Care for and use specialized inspection tools.
- Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits.
- Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
- Ensure inspection times are met.
