Job Description:

The Dodd Group is seeking a skilled System Integration Specialist to join its Telemetry Configuration Team in King's Lynn. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for technology and problem-solving.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, testing, and supporting the installation of microprocessor-based telemetry outstations on water utility sites. This involves desktop surveys of I/O, control, and communications requirements, remapping outstation and PLC data, and recreating modular and bespoke control and signal conditioning software code.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough desktop surveys to identify I/O, control, and communications requirements.
  2. Remap outstation and PLC data from existing templates to new ones, ensuring seamless integration.
  3. Recreate complex control and signal conditioning software code using commercial and proprietary applications.
  4. Perform functional testing of configured hardware at the worksite.
  5. Provide top-end support for outstation installation and commissioning, ensuring timely completion.
  6. Conduct periodic quality checks of data from newly-installed outstations, maintaining high standards.
  7. Create and update outstation mimics (interactive process diagrams) on the 'top-end' system.
