About this Role:

  • This position involves analyzing and testing computer control systems related to user system design specifications related to machine operating systems.
  • The successful candidate will apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications for control systems.
  • Manage the Calibration Program, including schedule of calibrations, perform calibrations on specific instruments, maintain Calibration Manager Software compliant with ISO 9000 requirements.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance of specific electrical and electronic devices and systems.
  • Provide weekend support, including on-site troubleshooting, if needed, to the plant operations in the field of controls.

Requirements:

  • Excellent analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting skills and organized approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong electrical background.
  • Experience with computer systems, programs, pneumatic and hydraulic devices and PLC's (Allen-Bradley desirable).
  • Experience in ISO 9000 and/or process type (chemical/pharmaceutical/food) industrial facilities.
  • Experience with CMMS software, and smart instruments a plus.
