Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nursing and care colleagues to deliver high-quality care to residents
- Work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager to drive quality and maintain high standards of care on your unit
- Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks on your unit
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner
- Act as the Named Nurse for residents allocated to you, with responsibility for the oversight, review, and update of their care profiles
- Supervise and manage the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording, and disposal of medication
Requirements:
- First-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN
- Post-registration and management or supervisory experience and/or training or qualifications
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work confidently on your own initiative
- Good standard of digital skills
