Job Description

Peaple Talent has partnered with a global professional services organisation to recruit an Oracle Cloud Functional Support Analyst. The role will report to the Oracle Support Manager and sit within the Finance Systems Team, assisting with the Oracle Cloud Fusion system's transition into a steady state, resolving end-user issues, and replicating bugs.

  1. Collaborate with finance on the Oracle Cloud Fusion system to deliver high-quality system reports, analysis, and support to meet business needs.
  2. Provide support services to the Cloud instance of Oracle Fusion, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounting Hub, FCCS, EPM, and OIC.
  3. Investigate and resolve incidents and defects related to the full end-to-end process, Oracle EBS modules, and connected systems to the Finance domain, considering root cause resolution and scalability.
  4. Replicate system issues in development environments and support testing changes to ensure they pass acceptance testing.
  5. Provide system administration, maintenance, interface management, and support for control of Opening/Closure of ledgers during month-end periods.
  6. Work with 3rd Party support partners to resolve issues using their ticket portals.
  7. Highlight major impacting issues to the Oracle Support Manager to ensure business impact is managed.

Key Competencies:

  1. Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Financial modules – 4+ years.
  2. Experience with implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects is valuable, along with a strong understanding of finance processes.
  3. Proficient in analysing requirements, configuring systems, conducting user training, and providing ongoing support is crucial.
  4. Oracle certifications are a bonus.
