Bar Manager

We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Hotel du Vin. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for leading our bar team to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality drinks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the bar team to achieve high standards of customer service and drink quality.
- Develop and implement effective bar operations to ensure efficient service and high sales.
- Manage bar stock, inventory, and supplies to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and drink offerings.
- Monitor and control bar costs, including labor, inventory, and overheads.
- Implement and maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene in the bar area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and train the bar team.
- Excellent knowledge of drinks, including cocktails, beers, and wines.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail to manage cash handling and inventory.
