Join Our Team as an Estimator for Defence Projects

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Defence Engineering Estimator to join our client's team. As an Aircraft Costing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating estimations on defence projects, working closely with the project team to ensure that all aspects of the project are considered.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading aircraft engineering operation near Cambridge, working with the RAF and MOD on multiple projects. You will be responsible for reviewing legislation, requirements, and schedules to create estimations on projects, identifying upcoming work and preparing for production, buying and procurement, research and carrying out risk assessments on projects, analysing costing, labour, materials, and tooling requirements, and managing stocks to ensure projects are completed.

Requirements
  • Experience in an estimating/costing role
  • Knowledge of Ministry of Defence legislation/schedules
  • A background in aircraft/planes

Salary
