We are looking for an Engineering Solutions Specialist to join our team at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group. This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.

Job Description
  • This role will involve undertaking specific engineering work packages to support the delivery of systems that meet requirements, schedule, and cost.
Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will work to standards, processes & procedures, ensuring rigour, resilience, and continuous improvement in solutions that meet all regulatory requirements, conform to specifications, quality, and certification requirements.
  • They will also support technical compliance, verification, and validation activities of all contractual, statutory, and legal requirements.
  • Working closely with the design, engineering, quality, and production teams will be key to this role, ensuring the most cost-effective solution is developed, compliant with requirements and legislation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can apply their skills and knowledge across a wide and diverse range of projects. A broad understanding of manufacturing techniques, including sheet metal fabrication, riveting, bonding, and welding, is essential.

Requirements
  • A sound understanding of engineering principles.
  • Experience in Systems or Project Engineering.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to apply skills and knowledge across a wide and diverse range of projects.
Estimated Salary:

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
