Nurture Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nurture Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a qualified teaching assistant, you will be supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) or Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) across the secondary curriculum.
About You:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant with experience of young people with EBD or SEMH
- Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
- Promote happiness, independence, and an enjoyment of learning
- Effective behaviour management and support skills
- Familiar working in a nurture environment
- Experienced with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide generous rates of pay, a dedicated SEN Consultant, and access to our 'Refer a Friend' scheme.
