Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urban Design Officer to join our team at Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. As a key member of our planning service, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design of our developments and public realm projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise Development Management on urban design matters
  • Ensure development delivers on what has been secured through the planning process
  • Assist with preparing additional design guidance, codes, and Masterplans
  • Facilitate the operation of the Council's Design Panel
  • Shape the design of Council developments and public realm projects
  • Input policy advice into future development plan reviews
