About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to join our team at H&R Talent. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing top-tier support for our applications, including Relativity, Ecapture, and Nuix.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership in the design, implementation, and management of multiple applications.
  • Escalate support and training for our internally developed applications.
  • Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and end users to design and own support for Line of Business applications.
  • Provide high-level escalation support to colleagues across the organization for applications and complex process implementation.
  • Coordinate software patching and upgrades across multiple departments to ensure client success.
  • Assist with training and provide guidance to non-senior engineers, serving as an internal escalation point for technical issues.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of SQL Database Design, administration, and reporting.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of T-SQL query language.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas verbally and in writing to a non-technical audience.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and work flexible hours as needed, including some nights and weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or comparable job experience.
  • Business Intelligence and analytics work experience, including architecture design and systems lifecycle development management.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
