We are looking for an outstanding Year 2 Educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 2 students, promoting their academic and personal growth. You will work closely with our dedicated team of educators to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including access to professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a range of wellbeing initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students
  • Developing and implementing effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships
  • Communicating effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
