Job Summary:

This role involves delivering high-quality education to a diverse group of students, ensuring their success in the classroom and beyond. As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students
  • Implement effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behavior and positive relationships
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development.

Location:

This role is based in Barnet, North London. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting the needs of our students and staff.
