We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team in Canterbury. As a Special Needs Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of primary-aged children with special educational needs.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement targeted plans tailored to each child’s needs, assist students with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or social and emotional challenges, create a supportive atmosphere for one-on-one or small group sessions.
Requirements
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications: BA/BSc in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals.
  • Preferred Qualifications: experience working with children with special educational needs, knowledge of IEPs and strategies for inclusive learning environments.
Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum.
