Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our financial services strategy, driving income and profitable growth within the division.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing Financial Services team, embedding our core values and principles.
  • Prepare and deliver income and profit budgets, monitoring and reporting on operating and financial results.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of financial services regulation and core products.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators, identifying trends and implementing initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver cross-sales and referral activity, promoting initiatives to improve results.
  • Ensure compliance with network requirements, implementing and maintaining necessary systems and controls.
  • Maintain the role of supervisor as defined by our network's Training and Competence scheme.
  • Communicate regularly with the Head of Sales Quality to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Effectively handle customer complaints, managing business exposure.
  • Create a culture of coaching, driving a high-performance culture.
  • Work collaboratively across business streams, maximizing profitable relationships.

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor, with a demonstrable record of motivating and leading a high-performing team.
  • Strategic management, providing clear direction and purpose.
  • Drive business growth, building and sustaining long-term performance.
  • Coach and develop advisers and managers to reach their true potential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and flexible, with a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as CeMAP or CII equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of Mortgage and Protection Advising.
  • Must live within the geographical area of the designated division.
