We are actively seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has experienced significant growth over the last 14 years, and we now have over 200 professionals within the team across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing rapport with new and existing clients, ranging from sole traders to the MD/CEO of large organizations, and collaborating closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

About you:

  • You will have experience in acquiring new business and fostering long-lasting relationships with B2B clients.
  • You must possess a passion for developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings – the stronger our presence in the market, the more successful you will be.
  • You will be tenacious and possess a business curiosity, enabling you to identify and explore new business opportunities to drive the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • You are eager to learn, as every day will present new challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career as a Commercial Account Executive and further your professional qualifications.
  • You are consultative, possess effective questioning skills, and are an active listener. You will take the time to fully understand client requirements and be able to advise on products and solutions – always identifying opportunities while seeking a 'path to yes.'
