About the Role

Rooftop Housing Group is a dynamic and forward-thinking social business, dedicated to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our customers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Business Partner to join our Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial business partnering services to the Operations and Resources directorates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculating service charges in line with policy and ensuring accuracy of financial statements
  • Leading the preparation of service charge audits and variable service charge reconciliations
  • Setting service charges for new developments and being the key contact for service charges
  • Assisting in the production of the Group monthly management accounts and specific working papers for the statutory accounts
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and providing high-quality financial information to stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in a finance team and interpreting complex or difficult data
  • Working towards or prepared to work towards a professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a natural problem solver
  • Very strong ICT skills to analyse data and improve processes
