Removals Operations Manager

Red Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Removals Branch Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our removals branch, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of removals projects.
Main Responsibilities:- Monitor branch performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure accurate reporting of figures and monthly profit and loss.
- Develop and implement effective business and action plans to drive growth and profitability.
- Manage a team of movers and coordinators, optimizing resources and maintaining high service standards.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for business development and generate leads.
- Write proposals, tenders, and supplier agreements to secure new business and maintain existing relationships.
- Negotiate business deals, including rates and fees, to ensure competitive pricing and maximum profitability.
- Proven experience in branch management within the removals industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of removals procedures, logistics, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and achieving operational targets.
