Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Gynaecology team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Main Duties

As a Staff Nurse in Gynaecology, you will be expected to participate in the delivery of patient care, including hysteroscopy, gynaecological outpatients, rapid access, colposcopy, and urogynaecology clinics. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective communication, and contribute to the professional development of junior staff within the department.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with NMC registration and a recognised mentorship course or willingness to undertake. Essential criteria include a working knowledge of the use or research in developing nursing care and clinical products, and having an in-depth knowledge of the issues surrounding the scope of professional practice and accountability. Desirable criteria include understanding of the principles and processes involved in clinical governance and experience within Gynaecology.
