This school provides a high-quality education for young people with special educational needs. Their goal is to be the region's leading SEND school, underpinned by teaching excellence, compassion, and understanding.

As a teacher, you will provide education and guidance to students across KS3 who have Autism (ASC) and associated difficulties. You will plan, design, and deliver an innovative curriculum based on the complex needs of the learners. Teaching Assistants will work under your direction.

Although responsible for planning lessons, students will attend classes with subject-specialist teachers. The school has excellent leisure facilities set in beautiful grounds that you are encouraged to take advantage of.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:00
  • Friday: 08:30 – 15:30

To be considered, we require teachers with QTS and ECTs. Experience working with SEN/SEMH is beneficial but not essential if you understand how SEMH impacts student learning. We need professionals with good behaviour management skills and the ability to cover a wide curriculum.
