Job Summary

Pioneer Wound Healing & Lymphoedema Centres is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Viability Nurse Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing expert care and guidance to patients with complex wound and lymphoedema needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced practice in tissue viability and wound healing, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Lead and manage the clinical service, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines for tissue viability and wound care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to research and development programs, staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices.
  • Develop and maintain resource management skills, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor and audit standards of care, providing regular reports to the Senior Management Team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Advanced practice experience in tissue viability and wound healing.Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in wound and lymphoedema care.
