Podiatry Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills and specialise clinically in a specific area such as MSK or the At Risk foot.
The role is based in both community and acute settings across the county and involves working in conjunction with the foot protection team, with access to the MDT, MSK team, and also holding a domiciliary caseload.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake podiatry assessments and contribute to treatment planning
- Deliver high-quality, accessible, timely treatment plans for patients, following evidence-based clinical pathways for patients in MSK foot and ankle conditions
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team alongside orthopaedic and vascular surgeons, endocrinologists, microbiology, and orthotics
- Liaise with GPs, tissue viability, district, and practice nurses
- Train other healthcare professionals and actively involved with student placements
- Deliver educational and screening programmes for patients with an at-risk foot
- Staff development opportunities
