Podiatrist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality podiatry services to patients in community and acute settings.

• Undertake comprehensive podiatry assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with a range of foot and ankle conditions.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless delivery of care from community to acute settings.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of specialized programs of care for patients with complex foot and ankle conditions.
• Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals and students on podiatry-related topics.
• Participate in audit and research activities to improve the quality of podiatry services.

• Registered Podiatrist with the Health Professions Council.
• Educated to Podiatry Degree level or equivalent.
• Postgraduate studies in clinical areas pertinent to the role, such as diabetes, wound care, and biomechanics.
• Minimum of two years post-registration experience working in community and acute settings.
• Experience of undertaking new patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Development of specialized programs of care.
• Previous experience of diabetic foot care, wound management, and vascular assessment.
