Conference Production Director

Informa Markets, a leading global events company, is seeking an experienced Conference Production Director to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality conference content for our events, working closely with our event directors, marketing teams, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the conference production team to ensure timely delivery of conference content, including agendas, speaker liaison, and onsite delivery.
- Develop and implement a research-led conference production process to create engaging and relevant content for our events.
- Collaborate with event directors and marketing teams to ensure alignment with event marketing campaigns and overall event success.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure campaigns are on track, tackle obstacles, and review work to ensure relevance and quality.
- Ensure team members meet digital content requirements for each campaign, including webinars, blog posts, and speaker interviews.
- Deliver set documents to key event stakeholders, including content marketing plans and post-show conference analysis.
- Cross-functional collaboration with sales and marketing on sponsorship and marketing deliverables.
- Liaise with operations teams regarding onsite requirements for conference delivery.
- Upkeep and monitoring of key systems and infrastructure in support of conference campaigns.
- Support team members' preparation for onsite delivery, ensuring checklists are created and followed, and everything is prepared, accurate, and complete.
- Contribute to the campaign brief process, setting out strategic objectives for each event based on past performance and analysis.
- Minimum 4+ years' experience producing conference/event content.
- Management/supervisory experience of 1+ years is preferable.
- Outstanding academic record – minimum 2:1 honours degree in economics, business studies, humanities, journalism, marketing, or similar.
- Proven analytical ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and communicate well with a wide range of people.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully dealing with clients and sponsors is desirable.
- Efficient, meticulous, and detail-oriented work ethic, approachable, confident, and articulate.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel internationally.
- Knowledge of using data analytics tools such as Excel, Microsoft BI, or similar is a bonus.
