Job Title: Conference Production Director

Informa Markets is seeking an experienced Conference Production Director to lead the development and delivery of high-quality conference content for our events. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the conference production process, ensuring timely delivery of agendas, speaker liaison, and onsite delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the conference production team to ensure key production milestones are met to a timely high standard.
  • Develop and implement a research-led conference production process, including writing agendas, securing speakers, and conducting regular 1-to-1 meetings with the team.
  • Ensure team members meet digital content requirements, including webinars, blog posts, and speaker interviews.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing on sponsorship and marketing deliverables.
  • Liaise with the Operations team regarding onsite requirements, including seating, stage, and AV setup.
  • Upkeep and monitor key systems and infrastructure, including the conference management system, project management system, and webinar tools.
  • Support team members in preparation for onsite delivery, ensuring checklists are created and followed, and all relevant documents are up to date.
  • Contribute to the Campaign Brief process, setting out strategic objectives for each event.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4+ years' experience producing conference/event content.
  • Management/supervisory experience of 1+ years is preferable.
  • Outstanding academic record – minimum 2:1 honours degree in economics, business studies, humanities, journalism, marketing, or similar.
  • Proven analytical ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully dealing with clients and sponsors is desirable.
