Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team at Cygnet. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing month-end VAT postings and reconciliations, leading on Cygnet's VAT restructure project, and advising the business on VAT treatment of items such as development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review annual tax pack information to go to external tax advisors.
- iXBRL tagging of financial statements for group.
- Responsible for tax and deferred tax postings and disclose in financial statements.
- Finalisation of year-end tax returns.
- Review expenditure to identify any potential R&D projects and lead on any claims.
Employment Taxes:
- Review share options and dividends monthly reports and reconciliations.
- Tax advice on Long Term Incentive Schemes.
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, desirable but not essential.
- General tax advisory background.
- An opening to undertake further learning with our excellent apprenticeship scheme.
