Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team at Donard Recruitment Ltd. As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments for the Governments disability allowance (PIP) while delivering a high-quality, patient-centred service.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR).
  • Assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
  • Manage caseloads from end-to-end, with autonomy to conclude cases efficiently.
  • Hold relevant qualifications (Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic) and 1+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Maintain valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
Salary and Benefits

The base salary for this Clinical Assessor role is £38,500 - £41,500*. In addition to the base salary, you can expect a 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality & retention bonus*. Other benefits include OTE: £45,650*, hybrid full-time and part-time working hours, training options, 25 days' holidays per annum, company laptop and mobile phone, and more.
