Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Tenancy Support Worker to join our team at Llamau Ltd. As a key worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of clients across the area, working autonomously and proactively to achieve positive outcomes and goals outlined by individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Work collaboratively with local agencies, such as the local authority, specialist charities, and housing providers, to promote services and support clients.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on housing options, housing law, and basic benefits.
  • Conduct home visits and community outreach to engage with clients and provide support.
  • Work with a trauma-informed approach and in a physiologically informed environment to support clients with complex needs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Non-judgmental mindset and understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • Forward-thinking and resilient attitude, with the ability to overcome barriers and setbacks.
  • Strong character, with the ability to remain calm and collected in challenging situations.
  • Experience in support work or housing, with knowledge of housing options, housing law, and basic benefits.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car.

Additional Information:

Additional payment of £79.20 for on-call duties. Any shift completed voluntarily or as part of on-call will be paid in addition to your salary at relief rates; Relief Pay per hour £11.55, Sleepover £155.70.
