Apprentice Service Engineer Opportunity

Our client, a leading provider of compressor solutions, is seeking an Apprentice Service Engineer to join their team in the South West region. As an Apprentice Service Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, receive ongoing training, and undertake formal qualifications to become a qualified compressor service engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance of compressed air systems and blowers
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repair
  • Install and commission air compressors, blowers, and associated ancillary equipment
  • Aluminium and Steel pipework installations
  • Complete service reports, timesheets, and recommendations in a timely manner
  • Recommend additional work that assists customers and enhances performance
  • Maintain good professional working relationships with customers and help develop new customers
  • Comply with customer health and safety environmental procedures
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Desire to provide high-quality workmanship

The successful candidate will be trained to undertake the main duties above through dedicated training courses in the classroom, online, workshop, and onsite. You will work within the South West region, visiting client premises for general repair, service, and installation work, with visits to the office expected a couple of times a week. The company offers a competitive apprentice salary package, as well as benefits, including pension and other company benefits in this rapidly expanding business.
