About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Key Account Executive to join our Gift Trade Sales team at Hachette UK. As a Key Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, curating title selections, and supporting the team with key accounts and long-tail orders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer communication, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including gathering information and completing forms.
  • Curate title selections for customers and the wider team, maintaining the team CRM.
  • Support accounts requiring additional operational handholding, utilizing supplier portals and HUKD systems.
  • Attend customer meetings, building long-term relationships and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Organize and attend Trade Fairs, ensuring efficient communication and excellent account management.
  • Oversee the Gift Trade Sales inbox, ensuring timely communication and excellent account management.
  • Support the Gift Trade Sales team and wider Non Trade team with key accounts and long-tail orders.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Presentation skills, with knowledge of PowerPoint and Edelwiess and Biblio skills beneficial.
  • Team player with a growth mindset and ability to work in a supportive and fun team.
  • Knowledge of Gift Trade and previous account management experience a plus.
