About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our Project & Programme Services team. As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality expertise that positively impacts society, the economy, and the environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide support to experienced colleagues within your team, including proof-reading documents to ensure they are complete and accurate.
  • Complete general administrative duties, including developing your knowledge and experience of quantity surveying.
  • Apply the principles of quality assurance and environmental management in compliance with the organisation's Policies.
  • Develop your understanding of the organisation's Policy and arrangements for managing your own personal safety while at work.
  • Develop and adapt your communication skills, particularly with customers, to reflect the organisation's values.

Requirements

  • At least five GCSE's (including English and Maths) at grades A - C.
  • A clean driving licence.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction forms and techniques.
  • Sound understanding of the main Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to write coherent and grammatical English.
