About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Retool, Inc. as a Sales Engineer. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving revenue by partnering closely with potential customers and ensuring they are successful with our software development platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical demos, build applications within our platform with prospects, answer technical questions, and manage the technical close throughout the sales cycle.
  • Partner with our sales leads as needed, particularly on enterprise deals, and contribute to building new processes and programs to help our sales team meet and exceed quota.
  • Create technical content to demonstrate best practices, such as sample applications, documentation, and videos.

Requirements

  • A background in computer science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, various no-SQL databases, APIs, and other relevant technologies.
