Cloud Network Specialist

A leading organisation in Camberley, Surrey seeks an experienced Cloud Network Specialist to join their team. This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as IT Engineers, IT Support Specialists, Infrastructure Managers, or Network Administrators.
The ideal candidate will have experience in optimising network performance and delivering IT support services. They will also play a key role in supporting major upgrades to the core network infrastructure and cloud transformation. As part of this process, they will be responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users, managing the helpdesk system, installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment, and maintaining the network, including Wi-Fi and switches.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users.
- Managing the helpdesk system – allocating jobs to technicians.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment.
- Maintaining the network including Wi-Fi and configuring switches.
- Managing user access including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Azure.
- Firewall management (CISCO and HP) and server configurations (Windows 2012 R2 and 2016).
The successful candidate will have experience with Office 365, SharePoint, Virtual environments (VMWare and Hyper-V), Printer solutions (Papercut MF), Anti-virus solutions including Sophos, VOIP telephone systems, CCTV and access control systems. Salary up to £47,500 per annum plus benefits package.
