Job Title: Depot Manager

McQueens Dairies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Manager to lead our depot team and drive excellence in depot operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the depot team to achieve excellent standards in health and safety, learning and development, customer services, financial control, facilities management, despatch, human resources operations, and transport.
  • Coach and develop team members to ensure they provide outstanding service and meet the needs of the business.
  • Manage the depot's overall performance, including budget, functionality, and workplace organisation.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure staff are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage the depot's regulatory compliance, including health and safety and technical food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in depot management, preferably in the dairy, food, or drinks distribution industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • IOSH certification and excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
