About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager to join our team at Age UK. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity that will play a critical role in shaping our organization's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across Age UK, with a focus on our Retail division and internal events, communications, and employee networks.
  • Develop and embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices into our organization, delivering measurable change.
  • Produce diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, procedures, and resources.
  • Work collaboratively and build networks with a diverse range of people across a multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Identify individual, group, and organizational learning and development needs and design and deliver a diversity, equity, and inclusion learning curriculum.
  • Organize and deliver diversity, equity, and inclusion events, training, and workshops to a range of audiences using different delivery methods and platforms.
Requirements
  • In-depth subject matter expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly anti-racism and disability inclusion.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant legal, data, governance, and compliance obligations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels verbally and in writing.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to measure the impact of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and use metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
