We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Finance Professional to lead our financial operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our business forward through effective financial planning, management, and decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing our financial operations, including preparation of monthly management accounts, payroll processing, and statutory compliance. You will also oversee cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, and performance monitoring. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to enhance internal controls, financial reporting, and management information systems.

  1. Manage Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day finance activities, ensuring accurate reporting, management accounting, and contributing to both internal and external financial processes.
  2. Lead Financial Teams: Manage and support the development of the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  3. Drive Business Growth: Provide valuable financial insights to drive business performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize financial processes.
  4. Ensure Compliance: Ensure timely completion of statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, EC sales list, etc.) and manage payments for PAYE, VAT, Corporation Tax, and other taxes.
  5. Maintain Financial Records: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, including ledger inputs, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and FX monitoring.

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a benefits package that includes flexible working hours, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a supportive team environment.

Requirements:
  1. ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified: Must hold a recognized accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent.
  2. Finance Degree: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  3. Experience: Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally in a fast-growing business.
  4. Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Excel (including data modelling, Power Query) and Xero.
  5. Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  6. Discretion: Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
